The Limited with the SPT automatic at $39,995 is the question to answer honestly. It keeps the two pedals, the Recaros, the Harman Kardon — the commuter comforts — and saves you $5,000. What it doesn't have is the adjustable dampers. If your weekend roads are real and frequent, the GT earns its price; if they're occasional, the Limited is the smarter signature.
There's no rung above the GT on the two-pedal path — this is the top of it. The tS at the same $44,995 isn't a step up, it's a fork: 6MT only, STI-tuned dampers, Brembos — a different philosophy at the same price. If you're torn between them, the transmission decides it, not us. Beyond both, the only step up is a different car entirely.
