The 2026 Crosstrek Lineup
One honest line on each โ who it fits, and the trade-off nobody at a dealership will mention.
Full EyeSight, full AWD, full 8.7-inch clearance โ the safety and capability are all here. The trade-off: 7-inch screens, cloth seats, and no roof rails.
$1,000 buys the 11.6-inch screen, roof rails, and the option boxes worth checking. This is the value pick of the lineup. Trade-off: still 17s and cloth.
18-inch wheels, yellow-accent sport interior, heated seats standard. Trade-off: it's a style-and-trim upgrade โ same 180-hp engine as Base.
194 hp and 36 mpg city โ the commuter fuel math. If you drive real miles on the 5 or 78 every day, the hybrid premium pays itself back. Short commute? The gas Sport is the smarter buy.
Leather, blind-spot detection, DriverFocus, heated wheel โ the comfort-and-tech ceiling of the gas lineup. Trade-off: you're paying for trim, not capability.
Top comfort plus the 36-mpg-city hybrid drivetrain and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. The everything trim โ and priced like it.
9.3 inches of clearance, all-terrain tires, and 3,500-lb towing โ more than double the other trims. Built for trailheads and fire roads. Trade-off: 29/24 mpg and a firmer ride around town.
All prices are starting MSRP โ your out-the-door number comes in writing.
Honest Guidance
Skip the spec-sheet spiral. Most Crosstrek buyers are one of these three people.
You do 60+ miles a day and the gas budget matters. Run the hybrid math with us โ at SoCal fuel prices and real mileage, the Sport Hybrid or Limited Hybrid often wins. At 15 miles a day, it usually doesn't. We'll show you the actual break-even.
Surf racks, trail dogs, Idyllwild in November. If your weekends leave pavement, Wilderness is the only trim with the clearance, tires, and towing to match. If they mostly don't, save the money โ every Crosstrek already has X-MODE and real AWD.
No strong opinions, just want it done right. Premium is the honest answer โ the big screen, the roof rails, and $5,000 of headroom left for the options you'll actually use.
Not sure new is the move? We run the new-vs-used math both ways โ sometimes a lightly-used Crosstrek beats any new trim, and we'll tell you when it does.
Name, number, trim โ or just "help me pick." We handle the rest.
